La Fée Absinthe Parisienne, the brand original, is a traditional French absinthe distilled by a Paris based distiller using Grand Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) and other fine herbs and spices. It was the first traditional absinthe distilled in France since the 1915 ban and is the only absinthe endorsed by the Musée de l’Absinthe, Auvers-sur-Oise, France. To this day each distillation is personally approved by world-renowned absinthe expert and historian, Marie-Claude Delahaye. Parisienne is distilled at the traditional 68% abv following an authentic 19th century recipe and louches perfectly when water is added.

Before diluting, La Fée Absinthe Parisienne is a clear, deep lime green color and displays an attractive, fresh herbal aroma. Upon adding iced water its louche has great consistency turning a smoky and milky lime green. On the palate it is softly textured and refreshing with discreet spicy flavors and a flavorful mid-palate of anise. Rich and powerful, La Fée Parisienne is harmonious and full of personality with a classic and delicate bitter sweet note.
