Absinthe is no stranger to cocktails being an ingredient in what was arguably
the first ever, the Sazerac, and mixologists today are creating both traditional
and modern cocktails from this historic spirit.
La Fée Duchess
- 1/3 La Fée Absinthe Parisienne
- 1/3 French vermouth
- 1/3 Italian vermouth
Glass: Cocktail
Method: Shake all ingredients
with ice and fine strain into a
chilled cocktail glass |

La Fée Sour
- 1 ½ oz (45ml) La Fée Absinthe
Parisienne
- Juice of half a fresh lemon
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 egg white
Glass: Cocktail
Method: Shake all ingredients
with crushed ice and fine strain
into a chilled cocktail glass.
For a longer drink, use a high-ball,
top with soda and enjoy a La Fée
Sea Fizz |

La Fée Sazerac
- Splash of La Fée Absinthe
Parisienne
- 1 sugar cube or 1 tsp of
granulated sugar
- 3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
- 2 oz (60ml) cognac
Glass: Old-fashioned
Method: Coat the inside of an
old-fashioned glass with La Fée
Absinthe Parisienne and leave
to stand. Separately shake
remaining ingredients with ice
and strain contents of shaker
into absinthe-rinsed glass.
For an even smoother finish,
shake all ingredients with ice
and strain into a chilled glass. |
